David Hunt loves water. His art practice centers around the repetitive fluid gesture of creating waterfalls, an almost calligraphic mark that resembles the letter “m”. Simultaneously singular and plural—David’s paintings and drawings contain the elusive gravitational force of movement. Movement spells change.
David is always up for a challenge. Back and forth between his easel and the water cooler at PALS, he competes with himself (and others) in a daily water drinking contest that promotes healthy dietary choices, as well as good sportsmanship. Drawing or painting waterfalls is the ultimate heroic challenge, which David is gracefully committed to.
